The world needs more climate action. Whether it's through concrete actions or by educating ourselves, every step counts.

In this tailored challenge, you will get the opportunity to learn more about the actions we take to make a better mark, and what you can do yourself. We hope to give you a powerful and engaging experience to raise awareness about one of the most important matters of our time.

Our main sustainability goal at Deedster is to reduce our carbon footprint. Our hope is that you will do the same. 

How &

When

Over 4 weeks in September, 10 teams will compete to complete the most deeds in the daa Climate Action Challenge, reducing their impact on the environment. In the Deedster app, you calculate your own carbon footprint. The app’s scorecard will help you keep track of your progress and the competition.

Onboarding:
From Thur August  25th,  2022

daa Climate Action Challenge Launch Event and Kick-off:
Thur September 1st  2022 at 10 a.m. GMT

Location: The Platform at DAC

Check your inbox to make sure you are registered for the event.

Finish Line:
Thur September 29th at 2022 at 12 noon GMT

The Winners

Regardless of who wins among you, the true winner will be our planet. However, the winning team is the one with the highest average number of completed deeds when crossing the finish line. And the team that comes out on top will win... A sustainable home start pack!

How do I join?

To join your challenge in the Deedster app, simply follow the steps below.

  1. From your phone: Click any of the brown join-buttons on this page.

    Reading this on a computer: Scan the QR code below with the camera on your phone.

  2. Follow the steps to download the Deedster app.

  3. Calculate your carbon footprint (this will only be shown to you).

  4. Create an account with your work email and set your username.

  5. Verify your email and get going in the app.

Deeds & Habits

Collect the deeds you'd like to do. Once completed, mark as done and get points to your team.

Create habits by doing the same deed several times and get more points.

Leaderboard & Profile

The leaderboard helps you follow the competition. You can see both the top teams and the participants in the lead.

In profile view you can easily keep track of your own progress.
