Marketing Assistant Intern

In your role as a marketing assistant intern you will work with creating brand awareness through PR and digital channels.

Example of tasks and responsibilities

  • Taking part in developing the marketing strategy
  • Writing press releases
  • Setting up and managing campaigns
  • Creating posts for our own social media channels (Instagram and LinkedIn)
  • Setting up collaborations
  • Taking part in creating and designing marketing material
  • Strategy and analysis work
  • Evaluation of new social media channels

Who are you? 

Well, we don’t really know – and that is why we hope you will apply. However, we think that you will like it at Deedster if you are a person who enjoys taking responsibility by practicing self-leadership, working in close teams, and if you are not afraid to fail and trying out new stuff. We are a startup, so we move fast and no matter the seniority level, we embrace learning and iteration, to become better at what we are doing. We also think that you are currently studying or just completed a degree in marketing with an understanding of digital marketing.


In this role, you will get the chance to work with the most important question of our time – climate change. In addition, you will work with our marketing team to attract new consumers that are willing to change in order to live a more planet-friendly life. We are a small team and your voice and opinions will be heard and highly valued. You’ll have a longer introductory meeting with your mentor to form your role, and then monthly check-ins to follow up on your learnings.


We are flexible but we’d prefer it if you work full time, minimum 10 weeks.

What else? 

In these times we should also mention that we, as many of us, are working mostly remotely. We hope that we can go back to our office close to Mariatorget as soon as possible – but we really don’t know. In the meantime, we are doing our best to find other ways of building culture and working efficiently, like the daily ”fika” over Zoom, team sprint meetings, and company-wide stand-ups.

Unfortunately, we can’t offer compensation, instead, we offer a great role and learning opportunity.
