We are aware that change in complex matters is difficult. For starters, we need to figure out what to do. This is why Deedster brings you the latest science through personalized technology, empowering you to achieve true climate action in your life. Then we focus on having some fun on the way! Yes, changing our behavior is easier done with a smile on our faces. 

The future needs brave individuals and organizations, ready to lead the way. Because what we do as individuals really matters. By pushing the first domino piece you can spark an unstoppable movement of climate action. That is what we need to do. Deed by deed.

The big step

After many months of brainstorming, co-founders Monika, Daniel, Anders and Niclas decide to create a digital platform for sustainable consumption. The goal? Positive climate impact. They leave their other jobs, register the company and give more than 100% to Deeds.

May 2017

Prototype and test

We prototype, test, and adjust, at high speed. During the summer of 2017 the first 200 testers use the app (at this stage called) Deeds! We see a potential to design a version for companies and organisations.

May 2018

We go live!

After hard work, intensive testing and feedback rounds, we release the first version aimed towards companies.

March 2019

Earth Hour Challenge

With WWF, we launched the first Earth Hour Challenge. Participants completed 48 000 climate actions avoiding 256 tonnes of CO2e!

Deedster at Work keeps growing

Over 150 companies and organisations have now engaged their employees in a Deedster at Work!

Launching Retursmart and our Lifestyle Climate Footprint service, directly inside Qliro´s app. Now 2.5 million app users can project the climate impact of their individual lifestyle – with our Deedster Retail solution. A first step toward a more climate conscious e-commerce. 

May 2021

Deedster at Work is launched with Swiss Re for 13.000 employees worldwide. The NetZeroYou2 is a strategic multi-year engagement solution to raise climate awareness and inspire climate action among the employees.

Deedster appointed top 15 Nordic Tech Start Up by high profile forum Techarenan!
Also selected as a member of the F10 Swiss based accelerator.

Climate song created with amazing All My Friends Are Stars and launched to spread climate awareness ahead of COP26 – over 100.000 views

November 2021

Official partner to Exponential Roadmap Initiative and UN Race to Zero for businesses aligning to the 1,5 degree target. Also speaking at World Fintech Festival in Singapore about embracing sustainability in the future of banking.

Launching My Footprint app with leading North European bank SEB in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Adding more app languages to Deedster – now available in 19 languages and country specific climate data / carbon calculations for 30+ countries
