We want your carbon footprint calculation to provide some insights into what drives your climate impact, while also being quick and easy to use.
Because of this, the first calculation you do assumes some average numbers when providing you with your footprint. You can then revisit the footprint and fine-tune it for each category to get even more accurate data.
We make the calculations from a life cycle perspective, which means we include emissions at all stages of the product’s life cycle, from production to recycling or incineration. You can find more information in our methodology.
It’s really important to us that you can trust this calculation, but there are many interconnected parameters, and sometimes there’s a bug. Please let us know if you find oddities in your calculation.
